Thyroid Issues? Unable to lose or gain weight?

Our thyroid plays a major role in providing the body with the necessary hormones it needs to aid in the metabolism process, as well as controlling the way our body uses energy.

Hypothyroidism is when our thyroid (the butterfly shaped gland in the front of your neck) is not producing normal amounts of thyroid hormone to keep our metabolic rate at it’s normal level and becomes decreased.

Symptoms associated with this condition are chronic fatigue (tired or sluggishness) even with adequate sleep, weight gain despite diminished appetite, sensitivity to cold and constipation, just to name a few.
